In the past few days we spent enough time lounging around the pool soaking in the tropical warmth, the chirping of the birds, the scent of sweet frangipani flowers and the blue of everything. Sky, ocean, pool. We feasted on grilled seafood, spicy “lawar”, succulent babi guling, Bintang beer and lots of fresh coconut juice off the shell. Yummie!!!

Once the sun starts getting lower, the sky burns with its magical colors
Rows of fishermen’s boats nested on a cold morning dew

A thousand footsteps left behind, another thousand tomorrow
Emerald clear water. So delicate and yet so powerful
Balinese sparrows feasting on morning offerings “canang”
A glass of Bintang and sunset, you can never go wrong
