I fell in love with photography many years ago, only to find the deeper I go, the more things there are to learn. Photography has been an excitingly creative experience that colors my life intensely. As often as I tell myself that gear isn’t everything but the person behind it, I do believe in the gear I use gives me flexibility in creating images I wish. So yes, it really is a strange combination of talent, techniques, equipment and a little bit of luck to produce great images.
Although currently most of my work is commercial related, I am pursuing a different interest. I am striving to develop my photography style, fine tuning my creativity, translating my visions and putting them into images that communicate clearly my ideas and concepts.
I was lucky to find a great mentor, who had helped me immensely in defining my style, Baja van Hulst. In the past I had joined her Intermediate and Advanced Photography classes. I completed a Photography Summer Residency Program held by School of Visual Arts New York headed by Abby Robinson, a BFA professor from SVA in New York.
